  • Forklift, Molds, Racks, Shelving, Conveyors, Tools
  • Completed inventory and works in progress
  • Trade accounts receivable (approximately $70,000)
  • Trademarks & business name
Buyer will be assuming the following liabilities
  • trade accounts payable (approximately $70,000
  • remainder of 20 year lease on building $7000 per month (approx 19 years)
  • royalty payments due the author of verses and poems due on merchandise inventory as sold
Other Terms & Details
  • Current management, sales agents, technicians, and skilled workers are willing to stay on with the business.
  • Buyer will need to furnish his own operating company or form a new one to operate the business.
  • (The corporate stock of Books of Love Inc will not be included.)
  • 10% buyers premium will be added to bid to arrive at the final contract price.
  • $5,000 deposit due auction day plus $14,000 for first and last months rent and a $7,000 securtiy deposit ($26,000 total)
  • Balance payable at closing on August 1, 2008

Due to financial circumstances of the owner and unrelated to the business operation, the business must be sold.
For many years, the business has proven very profitable and has enjoyed a steady growth in a very unique market nitche. About 90% of the revenues are from wholesale distributers, gift stores, flower shops, and other retailers. 10% of the revenue is derived from on line retail sales.
The current employees have been with the company for a long time (through a staff leasing company) and are planning to stay with the new owners.
